What is a Bulk File Name Cleaner?
A bulk file name cleaner is a tool that normalizes many filenames in one pass. It is useful when files arrive with spaces, accents, copy labels, inconsistent capitalization, or symbols that are awkward to use in websites, archives, cloud folders, and client handoffs.
This tool does not rename the original files on your computer. It creates renamed copies inside a ZIP file so you can review and extract the cleaned files safely.
What This Tool Cleans
- Removes accents from names like

- Removes common copy labels such as
(Copy). - Replaces spaces and symbol runs with hyphens.
- Lowercases file extensions.
- Adds
-2,-3, and later suffixes when two files would get the same cleaned name.
For example, Hình ảnh tuyệt vời của tôi! (Copy).PNG becomes hinh-anh-tuyet-voi-cua-toi.png.
How to Use This Tool
- Drop files onto the upload area or choose files from your device.
- Review the original name and cleaned name in the preview table.
- Adjust the cleanup options if needed.
- Keep Auto Preview enabled for instant updates, or turn it off and click Preview.
- Click Download ZIP to save renamed copies.
Supported File Types
Any normal file type can be included: images, PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, ZIP files, videos, audio files, text files, and more. The tool preserves the file bytes and changes only the output filename inside the ZIP.

Privacy
Filename cleanup and ZIP generation run in your browser. Files do not need to be uploaded to a runtime server. Very large batches may still be limited by your browser memory.
