We built our suite of developer and utility tools—from AES encryption and hash generators to JSON formatters and image resizers—with your privacy and security as the absolute highest priority.
This Privacy Policy explains how our "Client-Side First" approach protects your data, as well as how we handle the minimal background information required to keep our website running, fast, and free.
1. The "Client-Side Only" Promise: What Happens to Your Data
The biggest advantage of using UPREK is our architecture. 100% of the processing for our tools happens locally on your machine, directly within your web browser.
Whether you are encrypting a sensitive password, pasting proprietary JSON code, resizing a private image, or cleaning a list of file names:
- No Server Uploads: Your input data is never sent to, processed by, or uploaded to our servers.
- No Storage or Logging: We do not log, store, or back up any of the text, files, or images you put into our tools.
- Instant Deletion: The data you work with exists only in your browser's active memory. The moment you close the tab or refresh the page, that data vanishes completely.
2. Analytics, Ads, and Cookies
While the data you put into our tools is strictly local, we do use industry-standard third-party services to understand how our website is used and to keep the tools free through advertising.
Functional Cookies & Local Storage
We use your browser's local storage and cookies strictly for your convenience. For example, we use them to remember your "Dark Mode" preference or to save your specific tool settings so you don't have to reconfigure them on your next visit. This data never leaves your device.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand basic, anonymized website traffic. This helps us see which tools are the most popular (e.g., knowing if more people use the Base64 Converter or the AES Encryptor) so we can prioritize future updates. This data includes general information like your device type, browser, and general location, but it cannot be linked to your identity or to the data you input into our tools.
Google AdSense (Advertising)
To keep UPREK free for everyone, we display ads provided by Google AdSense.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your browsing history.

3. Third-Party Infrastructure
To ensure UPREK loads blazingly fast and remains secure for users worldwide, we host our website using Cloudflare Pages.
Cloudflare acts as our Content Delivery Network (CDN). While Cloudflare routes the secure web traffic to deliver the website to your screen, they do not intercept, collect, or process the local data you enter into the tools.
4. Security Measures
Because we never possess your data, UPREK is inherently immune to data breaches of user inputs. However, we still take security seriously:
- HTTPS/SSL: Our entire website is served over a secure, encrypted HTTPS connection. This protects you against "man-in-the-middle" attacks, ensuring that your connection to our site is safe from the moment you load the page.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Effective Date." However, our fundamental commitment to client-side, zero-data-retention processing will never change.
